Lest You Think I’m Lazy
I did a little cleaning up around here and updated the About page. (I might go back to the shorter version.) I’ve been feeling restless with For the Record lately. I’m trying to fix that. And I’m telling you because I know you care.

Nice new “About”. I followed the link to the last old FTR post. Did Luke just put a new engine in the old Jeep? Somehow I missed that. I thought they bought a new Jeep that looked exactly like the old one after shopping for cars and having their breakthrough fight at the car lot.
I do care very much, Katy, and I need to stop by here more often to tell you so!

As for the Jeep, after the long day of joint car shopping in “It’s Just Like Riding a Bike,” Luke found a Jeep for sale on his own that had a functioning engine just like Lorelai’s old one. Then he found out that Gypsy could put the engine from the new Jeep into the old one. He showed up on Lorelai’s front porch that night and handed her the number of the guy who owned the Jeep, so Lorelai could call him, buy the his Jeep, get the switcheroo engine work done, and keep her old Jeep in the end. It’s one of my very favorite symbols from S7 and I wrote about it here before you became an avid FTR fan. :)
